Can you imagine a nation of young Guatemalans being trained and discipled and then released to go out into the nations making a difference and sharing Christ’s love? Can you imagine a vibrant training center that will be in the heart of Antigua, Guatemala? This center will be a place for locals for learning self sustaining living, to learn English, for counseling, and a place where anyone can receive medical attention.
This is the vision of the Mobilization Center, in Antigua Guatemala, equipping young people to become Kingdom builders.
I have been asked to be part of this project, to build and establish it as a founder. So me and my other team members will be going in at ground zero, lead by an incredible man of God, John Little and his wife. This is a huge step of faith as we currently do not know where we will be sleeping and really what this center will look like. All we know, and all I know is that it is time to go to the nations, time to set up a center where training and sending can take place. Its time to mobilize the people of Guatemala and Central America into big things, into Kingdom living.
I know from my personal experience of going to 11 different countries in 11 months that mission trips change lives and perspectives. After you have tasted the extraordinary you cannot settle for the ordinary. I felt very connected to Guatemala and her people during my time there. This is why I KNOW this needs to happen. It will also be a huge help to the local community there, which I have personally seen and is in serious need of help. There is a massive lack of men being men in Antigua and a huge lack of fatherhood. This has to change!
I feel called to plant a mobilization base in the UK one day in the near future. This is also another reason I will be going to Guatemala to see what things God wants to do in these bases and what would work and not work for the UK base. I am very excited about this happening, to see the youth of the UK been risen up and sent out to impact the nations, and then their own in massive ways for the Kingdom.
I will be leaving for Guatemala on February 18th and then returning for my sisters’ college graduation on the 10th of May. To cover all my expenses for these three months I will need to raise $2,000 this includes my flights, food, travel, visas, and lodging.
