Thailand Is

Beautiful
Less than One Percent Christian
Has zero Churches
Has a hundreds of Buddhist temples
A place where respect is incredibly important
A place where you bow to greet someone and never point your feet at someone when sitting
One of few ancient countries in the world where it has not been colonized by foreigners
A place where little boys and girls are sold into sex slavery to pay off debt.

That is where we come in, that is where God comes in through us and changed is seen.

This month we are working with Remember Nhu(new) below is a brief overview of what Remember Nhu does

Remember Nhu exists to prevent the exploitation of children in the sex trade industry throughout the world.

Four objectives keep us anchored to that vision…

Meeting physical needs: Children with little to no shelter or food and not even basic medical care are at risk of being sold. Meeting the physical needs of children protects them from the sex trade.

Meeting educational needs: When honest, sustained work is an actual possibility, the financial allure of the sex trade industry lessens immensely. A quality education and/or practical vocational training gives children the means to opportunities for a future.

Meeting emotional needs: Children disconnected from the loving care of concerned, responsible adults are at risk. To grow and nurture children inside the love of a family protects them from the sex trade.

Nhu now serves with the organization that shares her name, working tirelessly to prevent other children from being trafficked.

Meeting spiritual needs: Children deprived of any real, lasting hope are at risk. When introduced to the incomparable love of Jesus Christ, children are introduced to a new and accurate vision of themselves: that they are of deep, intrinsic, and eternal value. Nurturing children into mature disciples of Jesus Christ protects them from the sex trade.[+]

MINISTRY (what we do)

A typical day for me and my team looks like this

6:30am wake up and eat breakfast

7:00am Prayer

7:45 leave for ministry site 1 (the new land Remember Nhu has purchased here we do all kinds of manual labor. Weed clearing, brick moving etc etc. Oh its 96 degrees here and so humid so we sweat buckets 🙂

11:30 LUNCH TIME here we go out with other workers and builders. Fellowship and eat delicious this food!

12:30 Back to work!

3:30 We all cram into the back of pickup truck and head home. Here we shower and get cleaned for dinner. By the way PRAISE God for a real shower I did not know what to do with myself when I did not have to pour a bucket over my head to shower.

5:30 We head to the Remember Nhu home! By now the kids are back home from school. So we hang out with them play games give lots of hugs and eat dinner with them. Sometimes we do worship together and they are always hungry to learn guitar so that keeps my busy. All the kids at Remember Nhu were saved from Sex Trafficking its hard to see little girls and boys running around and thinking they are here because someone notes to abuse them. As it says in his word he makes all things work together for his good! I thank God every time I'm there for where they are and not where they could have been.

7:30pm We head home

8:30pm Team Time we meet every night as a team. I have an awesome team called Redemption! We get together to do check ins each reflecting on their day normally that spurs good deep conversations about what's going on below the surface. Then we do feedback here we give positive and constructive feedback. We build and encourage one another, truth is spoken and received. Its a beautiful time of what the body of Christ should be doing regularly.

9:45pm Bed time!

P.S. I will be coming on December 3rd! I'm excited! I am asking for your financial support. I am needing to raise $500 before I come home. I will be speaking at multiple churches about my year before I come home to FL but I will not be able to do this without your help. The $500 will be for plane tickets, food, lodging, and gas, for about three weeks of travel and spreading the word about the things I have seen, done, and experienced this year. If you feel lead to donate and support on my final leg of my world race please donate via paypal to [email protected]

LOVE YOU ALL!
