HELLO FROM EUROPE!!!! I’m so excited to be here! It’s been a big culture shock coming here from Central America coming to Europe, but it also feels like I’m coming home in certain ways. For those of you who don’t know I’m originally from the UK born and raised. So the weather and food is very much like what I was raised on.

SO WHAT'S NEW!?
I have a new TEAM! We are called HEART REFINERY! And they consist of

Missy (Team Leader)
Sammie Jo
Dan
Chase
Amy
Hayden
And Myself

They are all amazing amazing AMAZING people! I will be writing all about them in the upcoming months. We will have the time of our lives, that's pretty much a guarantee.

WHERE AM I?

I am currently living and ministering in the county of Arges, Romania. We live in a very quint government housing project in Pitesti. We minister in multiple cities in the county. It is incredibly beautiful here. So much history and richness about the place.

Romania has only just recently come out of communism so it is still a very dark and oppressed place. The kids fight, drink and smoke, and have very little education. The elderly are stuck in there religious ways every time they pass an Orthodox church they do a crucifix multiple times. Basically Romania desperately needs Jesus.

WHAT'S THE MISSION?

Mister Dan Loghry getting a little crazy! 🙂

We are working with a incredible Pastor called Cristi Golas. He is an incredible man of God doing huge things for the kingdom has an incredible wife and three amazing children. They are all a blessing to everyone around them. They have two boys and one girl reminds me a lot of my child hood being around his kids. Makes me very happy indeed (side note thanks mum and dad for a wonderful childhood).

We are helping Cristi minister on a Sunday morning to his main congregation and then in the afternoon in a community called Resboyen (this means 'war' in Romanian) it’s a very tough community we do church for the kids and we get CRAZY!! And LOUD!! It’s awesome. We also ran a vacation bible school class for the kids most days, the kids went back to school today so we will not be doing that day to day like we were which is sad.

On the other hand we will be handing out sandwiches for the kids everyday so at least we get to see them that way as well as playing soccer most nights with them. My personal fad. We have also been doing manual labor for Christi plowing fields cleaning the different buildings they rent. All in all an incredible first couple of weeks.

HOW CAN I HELP?
Pray the people here in Romania need hope, joy, life, and love. Like I said before it is a dark place but that just means the light can shine brighter. I am very excited about my next couple weeks here in Romania it is going to be insane! I will be posting a very special blog this week sometime. Until then my friends stay blessed!

P.S. GANGSTER LIKE PING PONG

Praise report we got to minister to the toughest gangsters in the neighbourhood the other day. It does not seem like grown men would be into ping pong as much as they were but everyone loves it here. So we opened up our little church hall in one of the community and they came in and hung out with us. They had scars and tattoos to the high heavens. We introduced ourselves and Christi got to minister to them and share the gospel!
