As you can see from that blog Carlitos is a very special person to me. He touched my life in huge ways on my World Race. I promised him I would be back a year ago not knowing how or when that would be possible. Fast forward a year and and two months later guess who I got to see!
ME AND CARLITOS reunited!
I obvioulsy had a huge desire to see him as soon as I landed in Guatemala, but I felt God saying what and I will bring you to him when its the right time.
Yesterday we were prayer walking the city of Antigua and over the horizon I randomly saw the building which I thought was the hospital we helped at on my race last year, my heart immediatly started beating pretty fast. So we continue to walk towards it and it was!
Understand I had no clue where this hospital actually was, or if Carlitos would be there its been a whole year since I was in his ward. I prayed and decided its time to go in, everything looks the same as I walk the halls of the hospital and I knew he would be there.
I walked into the room and there he was ALL SMILES! he immediatly grabed my hand and looked in my eyes, it was hard not to cry. The thankfulness I felt to God could not be exspressed.

God is faithful and true to complete his promises, I could have one day come to Guatemala in my own strength, brought a plane ticket, and come down here and then left again. But no God brought me here on mission. He brought me back with a purpose!
