Imagine moving to a country not knowing what you will be doing there; imagine leaving family and friends, leaving all your comforts that you have back in the states. Seeking the fathers face every day for direction and revelation, for EVERYTHING. This is my life here in Guatemala. I would like to share a few key things God has done in me since being in Guatemala (that’s just one month)
INNOCENCE IN SONSHIP
I have known the fact that I am a son of God for the majority of my life, but that does not mean I walked in it fully. God has shown me that its not about DOING things for him but being WITH him. I have been doing things for God my whole life a part of me has felt like I needed to do these things so he can be proud of me. The thing is though a father loves his son unconditionally no matter what he does or achieves. He can just simply be because he is his. I am my beloveds and he is mine AMEN
All AUTHORITY
As a son I walk in what he has given me, this is something I had seemed to forget. That when I speak I speak with a authority that can move mountains, that can shift nations. That when I pray for the sick they can and will be healed why because Jesus wants them to be, and he lives in me and works through me. I have authority over the works of the enemy; nothing can defeat me or destroy me because he lives in me! This revelation changes everything!
WHAT NOW?
Go out into the entire world and make disciples!
That is what is starting to happen here at the Journeys Guatemala base, people are coming to us asking for more of Jesus. Guatemalan teenage boys will be coming to our home regularly to be discipled to receive more of the kingdom in there lives. We will also be going out into other rural areas of Guatemala to spread the message of who he is and how truly life changing his kingdom can be, for a person and for a nation. Please continue to keep us in prayer as we go out. We have experienced opposition and the enemy trying to derail what is happening here.
