One word comes to me when I think about MALAYSIA
DIVERSE
For example just a few days ago this was my day
Had a time of prophecy and pray at the ywam base
Then visited a Chinese temple
Then a Muslim Mosk
Then found myself in a Hindu night street festival
PENANG – MALAYSIA
There are so so many different people groups here in Malaysia, and sadly Christianity is way down on the list here in Penang where we are living this month. There are temples, alters, and shrines everywhere! You hear muslim chants daily and the smell of incense is always in the streets. There are also lots of lady boys here in Penang and there is a sex trade that the government is trying to eradicate. Its a very confused and in need of direction island.
My ministry consists of helping the homeless three days a week, and then working at an art gallery that communicates the gospel through works of art. Its pretty amazing! We also go out once a week between 8-10 and minister to who we ever find on the streets and that just means having a conversation and seeing where they are at and if we could pray for them.
Also if we get caught sharing the gospel with Malaysians we get kicked out of Malaysia and pretty much can never come back. They have local plain street cops that pan the island looking for people like us. So please pray into that we have had no problems and we will not have any in Jesus name. Its rather exciting to be honest!

This is my last month on the race I will be back in America in 20 days so crazy! after being gone for over 300, its hard to comprehend. It truly amazes me when I look at what God has done this year in me, in my squad mates, the places we have been, the things we have endured, the things we have been blessed with, the lives that have been touched, the people that have been saved, and the healings we have seen. I am in awe of everything he has done!
My future blogs over the next week will be talking more about heart things and the things God has shown me on the race, im very excited to share that with you all. Thank you for reading this.
