So what does a typical day on the world race look like? Well the simple answer is there isn't one. Every single day on the race has been different in some way. Some times its been hugely different or just a little curve ball I wasn't expecting. There is a saying I learnt from growing up as a kid in ministry that I always loved, "The fliexible shall never be bent out of shape." This saying has got me through a lot of crazy days in my life, and I am finding there are a lot of crazy days on the race and I LOVE IT.
So this was my day 02/03/12
7:30am
I woke up, and got ready for a full day. Head to the fridge very, very excited about having some left over cake that our new Candian frends brought to our family meal last night. But then I remember MY TEAM IS FASTING TODAY! So that delicious cake (which is totally a luxury on the World Race) will just have to wait.

8:30am
The Lord convicts me about my lack of blog writing so I get down to business for 30 minutes before we pray as a team and head out to the Grandpa home to do ministry.
9:00am
Prayer time! Every day before we do ministry as a team we get together and pray that he would bless our day, and go before us in all we do.

9:30am
Grandpa home! Here we laugh, sing, dance, and minster to these incredible people they bless me every time I go there. With their vibrance for life and rather interesting converstations. The language barrier is hard there but God still moves in big ways.

12:00pm
LUNCH TIME! Well more like PRAYER TIME! because of my teams fast this day we decided to pray over our lunch break. God showed up and met us, right there, in the middle of the hostel. One of the best prayer times I have had yet on the race.

2:00pm
Hospital time!! I get so excited when we get to go to the hospital! I get to see Carlitos and all the other amazing kids there. I pray for him every time I see him and he gives me a big smile every time I pray for him. Its so great to see how my team and myself intereact with the kids, we were all for more reserved when we first got there. Now we play catch with the kids, hold them, sing to them, and most of LOVE on them.

4:00pm
Time to say goodbye to the kids. We head back to the hostal and I get ready to lead worship tonight, and continue working on my blogs and support raising.
7:30pm
Worship time! We have been doing a worship night on fridays nights here at the hostel. It has been powerful every time, I love worshiping with my fellow squad mates. It always refreshes my soul.

9:00pm
Team debrief time! This is something we do everynight on the race. We all just check in concerning our day and how things went. We share our struggles, celebrations, and the process we are all on. We also do something called feedback during this time. When it comes to living non stop with 6 people for 11 months there are going to be times when we annoy one another, but more times than often we bless one another. So we take this time to raise people up I have become a better person in only a few short weeks because of the feedback my team mates have given me.
10:00pm
Movie time with the bros I am so blessed to have these guys on my team RYAN MILLER and DAN LOGHRY! I can not tell you how much they have blessed me. I am looking forward to forming a bond with these guys that I know will last for the rest of my life. We watched Money Ball by the way (Good Movie)
12:05am
FFFFFFOOOOOOODDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, us guys raided the fridge, there wasn't a single left over by the time we were done. I ate a mixture of nachos, spaghetti, and cake! I had blast almost like I was 13 again haha
12:15am
Attempted to watch the end of Money Ball but I passed out, and had a much needed good nights rest.
THE END
