I would like to formally introduce everyone to my new family.
These last few days at training camp for the World Race I fell in love with my Squad. These 48 beautiful peoples will be traveling around the world with me for the next year!!!
Camp was amazing, we grew closer to God, were challenged and stretched and we pushed through scenarios that we are likely to encounter during the race.
Some such scenarios were: Being stuck overnight in a bright loud crowded airport overnight, half our luggage getting lost and doubling up, buying food in a crowded market place with music blasting and mopeds beeping through.
Each day we worshiped together, learned together, lived together, constantly bonding and becoming more like family. I truthfully cannot wait for the race to start and to be surrounded by my new friends!
