I am currently 48 hours into my 7 day fast for fundraising.
5,380$ still needed in the next 96 hours.
To answer some questions:
Are you hungry?
Yes i am hungry (lol love that question)
Why are you fasting?
I am fasting not only as a fundraiser but also as a spiritual discipline, personal challenge, and as a time to prepare for the many challenges i will face over the next year.
What have you learned/ experienced so far?
In the last 48 hours i have read the gospels, prayed for myself, prayed for others, and just meditated. I have seen God connect me to people i would have never been encouraged by if not for this fast. And i have felt God say He will provide.
A personal goal/ challenge from a friend during this fast is to develop my last 5 words to lead someone to Christ in another language.
the example given to me was Trust- Christ – and – Be – Saved
I am no where near close to having my 5 words yet but this has been the focus of much of my meditation.
