We have been in Chlondalkin, Ireland this past week. The first few days we were a part of the Awakening worship conference. The last few days we have been debriefing as a squad. I honestly cannot put my experience into appropriate words. The Spirit of God has been coming often and heavy. I feel like He has stuck his finger into our squad and stirred us up in the Spirit.
Many remarkable things are happening. People are having dreams and visions. People are speaking in utterances and groanings. If you don’t believe in that sort of thing, then you don’t have to address it, but it’s real (PS I’m not interested in your filtered theology on the subject, and I still love you). People are prophesying over the body and each other. For instance, it has been spoken from 5 different people on 5 different occasions this week that I have a lion inside of me. Some saw me ask a lion with it’s mouth open. Another saw me as a beast with chains broken. So on and so forth. Let me tell you that there is something inside of me raging, and I know God has it in store for Africa. Friends back home know that I was pretty light hearted and quite honestly…apathetic, but I am beginning to walk into some kind of God given authority. I am no longer afraid, and I feel that freedom is about to spew from my mouth onto the peoples of Africa, such things being a work of the Holy Spirit.
If you have trouble with the testimony that I have given, please take it to the actual person of Christ and not your theology. Wrestle with it and pray into it. Ask Him yourself for dreams and visions. Ask Him what He is saying and doing in the moment. Obviously God is still speaking or we wouldn’t be here (Everything is held together by the word of His mouth). Do not discount or put the Holy Spirit into a box. Obviously, He is important enough that Jesus would actually leave the Earth and send the Spirit in His place.
