Welcome to the
life I live………
The African Countryside
The World Race
can be a roller coaster.
And True Contentment
is the stabilizer.
One moment I’m swimming
in the ocean off the coast of Kenya
neck is stinging from a Jellyfish
attack.……………………..
We are privileged to enjoy the beauty, worship and people of Africa.
But we also eat more carbs/starch then any
normal human being should consume for 90 days.
Although I feel the high’s and low’s of the World Race
are slightly more extreme.
Life outside of the Race
is not much different.
There are Good Times
and there are Harder Times.
I am learning how to embrace the Good Times.
As a Christian, I
have heard a lot about embracing
suffering.
And a lot about thankfulness
during the better times of life.
But not a lot about how to fully embrace
and live out the Better
Season’s of Life.
I’m not ashamed to admit it.
I am in a FANTASTIC SEASON OF LIFE
right now.
I had a MASSIVE
REVELATION at the beginning of the month
that brought me to a Whole New Level of Freedom.
I’m at a good place relationally
with people around me.
We have worked with an AWESOME
Contact this month. And the town we are staying in is
Peaceful. Joyful. Hosptiable. And Safe.
and preaching.
All Things I LOVE.
I have been
able to see tons of fruit:
A Baby healed of Malaria.
4 Men have come into relationship with Jesus Christ.
A boy freed of demonic oppression and then connected
to a local church.
(Just to
name a few…..)
Plus, I have
plenty of time to spend with God. I am hearing
Him clearly. I feel connected to Him in intimacy. And I am daily
encouraged in the ways He is using me.
THIS IS A GREAT SEASON OF LIFE.
And daily when I ask
God what he has to say to me.
He says one thing Over
and Over.
Enjoy It!!!
Continually give thanks.
Keep your eyes open to opportunities. Pour
out generously.
Embrace each day fully and don’t look ahead.
And above
all.
Enjoy!!!
Embracing
Suffering is a very important lesson.
Fully
embracing the Good Seasons of Life in Thankfulness, Joy and Pouring Out is just
as important.
“You
give and take away. You give and take away.
My heart will choose to
say – Lord blessed be your name.“
