Back down from the mountain for good! This time was a little more bitter sweet. Saying goodbye to friends and kids and contacts and pastors and…….. The first of eleven experiences, I´m sure. God has truly blessed the last two weeks. Incredible views (we hiked further up the mountain!), incredible meals (EVERYONE wanted to cook us lunch before we go), incredible experiences (we found a mountain stream! but too low to swim – puddle stomping!), incredible friendships (the last night there we stayed up till 10:30 playing Dominican dancing games), and incredible growth (did a sermon for the church that sent us Americans spiraling into self-examination).
The Lord answers prayers! Everytime our team got together to pray for guidance, God showed up and gave us DETAILS! We had the opportunity to go to two random houses to pray for them, and they spilled out all these things they´ve been going through and said that they had been praying for a sign from God that He is still listening. And we showed up. That is the God I serve! Led us straight to the people who needed Him most. Incredible is truly the word. Not credible to anything but HIM. This month has truly been incredible. Thanks for praying for me so God can answer your prayers. I hope God is answering mine for you.
