So I sit here in the McDonald’s in Chisineu, Moldova waiting for our train to get here and take us to Kiev, Ukraine. When you’re faced with 12 hours of waiting in a train station, the idea of American-ish fast food is QUITE appetizing. We ordered our food and were just chilling out and eating our food when we see a man walk by wearing a shirt that said “Jesus Saves”. Obviously, this caught our eye, not only due to the fact that it bears the name of our Savior, but also that it was in ENGLISH. So I go over and talk to him and it turns out that he’s a missionary from Ohio. I chat with him for a little bit and head back to my table only to find my two friends Kim Jerkins and Jenni Weir talking to another group of missionaries from Atlanta. God is good. An uplifting encounter even at McDonald’s. Well, it’s on to Kiev for structured ministry. Keep the faith in a fast food Jesus.
