This last Wednesday, Sammie, Bekah, and I went to a smaller city by the name of Chirkasy (Ukraine) to do more campus ministry there.  We made lots of friends and got to have some good conversations about redemption and acceptance and unconditional love.   This is a picture of us with all our non-Christian friends outside their dorm.  Good times.  We taught them the Electric Slide just moments later!

Here we are in the park just walking around and looking at the local artwork.  We went to the “Love Bridge”, which is a small foot bridge where people in love go and put a pad lock on the frame of the bridge and throw the key over the edge as a sign of their timeless dedication to their loved one.  There were a great number of locks on the bridge.

After that we went to hang out with some of the young people involved in the minstry in their dorm room and talk about spiritual gifts and callings.  Pictured below is Annya and Myroslava, two girls who attend the university.
The next day, we sat in on an English class and were asked to describe the higher education system in the US, which was funny because I have not yet attended the higher education system in the US.  After that, we went to lunch to refuel and recharge.

Many adventures, many friends, and lots of good old fashioned life gospel.  Not preaching the love of God.  Exercising the love of God.  They wanted us to stay an extra day so they could spend more time with us, but we had to be back by Friday night.  So we
said our goodbyes and exchanged e-mail and facebook info and parted ways.  I wish I could continue working in Chirkasy and descipling these great young people.  But God has more people in the world for me to love.  So I simply pray that the seeds planted these last two days would fall on fertile soil.  May God Bless them and keep them in our absence.
