This probably won’t be too terribly long of a blog post, rather one of my shortest, so dont worry!  On Thursday, my squad will begin our great adventure, flying to Miami, then on to Honduras.  I can’t say I’m not excited, or nervous, because I am. But more then those, I am scared. For twenty three years, the world to me has been the 104,094 square miles of Colorado, with the occasional trip to the east coast to see family.  But now, my world is expanding exponentially. I don’t know what to expect. I don’t even really know what our ministry in Honduras is, even when we are only a few days out.  Right now I feel a bit like Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings, when he realizes that with one more step, he’ll be further away from home then he’s ever been. That will be me in two days, and boy, I could sure use some prayers right now.

But on the lighter side, I don’t have too much more to raise until my next deadline! I have broken the $9000 mark this week, and I only have $2000 more to go until I reach my next deadline of $11000. This mark has been a pretty big milestone in my mind for whatever reason.
I cannot wait to see what happens in the next year, and how God is going to change my life.
