As many of you know, my FAVORITE animal of all time is an elephant. If I could have one as a pet… well that would be dank!

ok on with the story..
Nate and I went out to eat one night and we over heard someone talking about how they want to leave the United States and just go and be free. Before they left we stopped them so we can talk to him and his mom about The World Race. They were BEYOND excited! That kind of opened a door for us to talk about Poppa and how awesome he is. We ended up praying over them both and just really got to bless them. BUT it wasn’t just them who was blessed.. it was me too!
The mom had the most raddest of the rad purses of all stinking time!! It had a cute little elephant on it. I just made a comment of how awesome it was and guess what?!.. she took it off and gave it to me!! I was speechless. It’s crazy, something so simple made my day. Something so simple brought me joy it brought me a sense of peace.
HOW IS THAT?!
It’s the simple things in life..
Imagine this:
Go about EVERYDAY of your life finding ways to even just give someone who’s having a bad day a work a free Starbucks. Find someone who is homeless and just give them a hug. Just walk with Poppa and let him speak to you and guide you. Let him bring the joy and peace out in your life where a smile just brightens someone else’s day.
The other night Nate and I met a guy named Ross who was traveling. We gave him some food and cliff bars to last him awhile. We talked with him for quite awhile and at the end we prayed over him. Despite people laughing, taking pictures, and judging the crap out of him, he had so much JOY and he felt so LOVED. Just a simple act of kindness.
Now I’m not saying to strive to do this and feel bad when you don’t. Just let it come naturally. Let it get to the point where you don’t think twice about it.
I encourage you today… just LOVE.

P.s. next time you go to a zoo or a safari. just sit and watch the elephants. they are so simple. they are kind to one another. they LOVE each other and stay as a pack. They have fun just throwing tree branches in the air and making them slam on the ground. they are very peaceful animals =).
