Have you ever paused to think about who is praying for you? It doesn't matter who you are, or what you are doing… someone is probably praying for you… and God is listening and answering! Whether you are overseas on a mission trip, at work, in class, or in the hospital… someone is praying for you… I'm going to share with you all of the praying I've been exposed to on the World Race so far if you don't believe me... smiley

Thailand:
Our squad leaders prayed for our squad
Our team leaders prayed for their team
Our teams prayed for each other
We prayed for our ministry contacts
We prayed for all of the people we would meet in the bars in Patong
We prayed for other squads that were traveling to different countries
Our families and friends back home prayed for us
They also prayed for our contacts and the people we would minister to

Cambodia:
We prayed for family members back home who were sick
We prayed for each other when we were sick
We prayed for people in the village who were sick
We prayed for all of the students we were teaching
Our friends and family prayed for us
We prayed for friends back home who were going through hard times
We prayed for each other when we felt defeated
We prayed for future teams that would be working in Pouk
We prayed for kids, adults and elderly people in the village
We prayed for our squad mates

Australia:
We prayed for encouragement
We prayed for friends back home
We prayed for the community we are ministering in
We prayed for the contacts we are working with and for their future ministry
We prayed for health
Our squad leaders prayed for us
We prayed for the Christians living in Bagot
We prayed for healing over ourselves and others
We prayed for funding for our squadmates

Okay… I'm sure I left out many prayers, but you get the picture! I guess the point is, people are praying for you and you may not even know it! God is listening and answering their prayers… He is faithful! I just see how much he has done for me, and I know I have many people praying for my journey… my physical journey around the world and my spiritual journey, discovering the depths of Chris's love for us.

Since we're on the subject of prayer, I am asking that you all join me in prayer over my funding for the rest of the race. God has faithfully provided me with the money I needed thus far. Thanks to a few monthly supporters, I have been able to stay on the race and have not lost focus on my mission because of worrying about funds. Of the $14,300 I need in my account I currently have $8,500. Which means I need $1,500 to meet my April deadline of $10,000. I know God will provide the funding. Please join with my team and I as we pray! Please feel free to share my blog with anyone who you think will be blessed by reading about our ministry also! Here are some pictures from this week in ministry:

1 Peter 1:8 "Though you have not seen him, you love him, and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
