In less than 24 hours, I will be on my way to Kathmandu, Nepal to start my new month of ministry! I can’t believe my squad is already on month 6! God has already taught me so much over the past 5 months. He is growing me and molding me into the person He wants me to be. It is so exciting to know that He has a plan for my life that I don’t even know yet! I have so much peace knowing that as long as I am following His purpose and direction, my life can’t go wrong. If you havn’t read any of my previous blogs, here’s a little of recap of my ministry so far:
January: Phuket, Thailand. We worked at SHE Ministries going out into the bars to talk to women in human traffiking about the different options they could have to make money and change their life and find hope in Christ.
February: Siem Reap, Cambodia. We worked at the University of Nations teaching English in a small village and teaching Christian values to the students, along with village outreach.
March: Australia. We worked in an Aboriginal community with a church reaching out to the aboriginal people who are struggling with drug abuse, alcoholism, depression and suicide.
April: Malaysia. We taught in Burmese refugee schools, did village outreach, lead small group meetings, worked in a restaurant, and did a prostitution ministry. This month was full of Kingdom building!
May: Bangalore, India. We helped renovate a school for slum children, painted the basement for the YWAM base, visited multiple Children’s homes and spoke in churches, and a Rehibilitation center. I fell in love with this country, especially the homeless children. I believe strongly that this is a calling in my life. I am currently praying into it to see if this is where God wants me to be!
June: Nepal….. we’re on the way!
July: Swaziland…we were told this country is so infected by AIDS that it won’t even exist after 2050.
August: Mozambique.
September: South Africa.
October: Moldova.
November: Romania.
I am currently at just over $1,000 away from my July 1st deadline of being fully funded for the rest of the trip. Thanks to my many supporters back home, I have currently raised $10,000 plus another $3,000 in monthly pledges! I can’t praise God enough for providing for me. Since my fund raisers before I left for the race, I have not done any fund raising, God is just bringing people to me to help and support my journey. If you feel lead to donate to me, I only need 20 people to make a ONE time donation of $50 or to pledge just $10 a month to me through November!! God is so so good and I trust He will get me there. If you want to donate to my trip and send me to Africa and Eastern Europe, please Click Here. If you know anyone who will be blessed by reading my blogs please share my blog with anyone! Thank you to everyone back at home praying for me, supporting me, and believing in me!
