Hi everyone! This will be my first update since I’ve been back to the US. I will try to keep it short and simple since I started another blog. On my new blog you can read about all of the details (because there are many) 🙂
To put it simply:
I got home from the World Race in November.
I moved in with my 2 sisters and my nephew Jonah (we just moved into a house in Chapel Hill)
I met a man (Buddhi) while I was in Malaysia and we communicated through email and skype for the remaining 7 months of the race.
I went back to being a substitute teacher in Chapel Hill and also a nanny for the same family I was with before I left (praise the Lord!)
I started leading children’s worship at my church
I flew to Malaysia to see Buddhi in March
I got engaged in Malaysia!!!
I got hired as staff at an organization called Tiny Hands International… they fight human trafficking and also have children’s homes in Nepal.
I am getting married in Nepal (where Buddhi is from) in October.
We will work for a year to pay off my student loans before moving back to Nepal in 2014 to open our Children’s Home.
I mean… HOW GOOD IS GOD!!! He has made ALL of my dreams come true!!!!
