What a month!!! Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me and my team here in Swaziland. We have loved, and have been loved by the 60 orphans living here at El Shaddai Orphanage. Two of the girls here came to know Christ as their personal Savior!! Praise God!! Our ministry here has consisted of helping the Aunties take care of the children, playing with them, and teaching them about God. Every day at 5:30, we had chapel. In chapel, we read Bible stories to the younger children, sang songs together, and even did some in depth Bible studies with the older ones. I most enjoyed going through the book of John with the older girls, and really helping them understand the Word of God. I love learning more about who He is by studying His Word with fellow believers.
God has also used my time here to show me just how precious life is.
God, the Creator of the entire universe, has given us the wonderful opportunity to be alive on this earth. He has given us the capacity to love and be loved. I have been so overjoyed thinking about just how much the Lord has given me, and everything He has allowed me to do and be for His glory. We have the great privilege and responsibility to spread the Gospel. Whether that’s with words, or actions…He has allowed us the awesome opportunity to talk about Him!!! Wow!!! I can’t help but smile and praise my God for this!!! And all of this is possible because of His great love for us. My thankfulness every day is beyond words.
Here is a fundraising update for those of you who would like to know. As of right now, I have raised $12,967.42. Thank you all for your prayers and support!! I am excited to see what God will continue to do in me during these next 8 months in different countries, and when I return to the states.
