The Lord has been radically pouring out His love and mercy on me in tremendous ways, and He constantly reminds me that I should never, and I mean never, put Him in a box.  I can’t make assumptions of what He will or will not do.  He’s God.  Whatever He does is perfect.  I also don’t want to underestimate His power and authority, which reigns over the entire earth.  So often I look at a penny and think “one cent.  Can’t do anything with that.”  Same is true with how I view circumstances or difficulties in my life.  I can’t see past my pain, suffering, anger or whatever it is that has tried to take my eyes off of Christ.  And the whole time the Lord is just waiting for me to give it all to Him.  He can take a penny and turn it into a billion dollars if He wants to.  He can take gut-wrenching heartache and transform people into His beacons of light.  He can do…anything.  Jack belongs in a box; God does not.  🙂
