The door opened.  A young woman, probably no more than 21 or 22-years old, came out first.  Following right behind was some sort of officer.  He was in uniform.  Then the door shut.  They both left carrying nothing. No words were spoken between us but my heart literally broke at what I thought just happened in that room.  The next day some of my squadmates saw at least six young girls ushered into our hostel, each followed by a significantly older man.  Each went to a room; each left in less than an hour.   This happened, and seems to be happening every night, right before our eyes.
It could be very easy to feel helpless, but I know my squad and I have been placed here to minister just as much as the Lord has us ministering around the city.  We are being called to pray for the staff and all who come through the doors.  We are being called to pray for the other buildings and people on the street, from the hostel literally across from ours to the woman who sells waffles every day on the corner.  We are being called to walk around the community with the light of Christ bursting forth with our every step.  Please join me in prayer as we boldly proclaim, in the name of Jesus, that any foothold the enemy thought he had is being absolutely obliterated by Love, Hope and Truth.  Please pray that we are seeing with Holy Spirit eyes, and that we embrace every opportunity to spread His joy.  Please pray every heart and mind is drawn to the Lord and His awesome power revolutionizes Cambodia.  Please pray for healing and restoration to all who have been exploited.  Darkness has NO place here.  Evil has NO place here.  May Jesus reign here!
