Why not here?
It's one of the first questions I was asked when I made my decision to join The World Race.
And probably the only one I have yet to answer . . .
Why?
Because it's the hardest question I've been asked.
It's true.
Just look around your neighborhood.
There's a daily struggle in America.
It truly is an oppressed country.
We might be a country of wealth and success
but we're also a country of struggle and hopelessness.
And here I am . . .prancing off into the rest of the world.
Why?
Because that's where God has called me.
He has me called into in the third world countries;
to the dying orphan and lonely widow.
He has called me into the foreign lands; full of people that have yet to hear about the Gospel.
He is leading me into the darkest of places.
And I'm going.
I believe I have been called there this season because so many out there have never heard the Gospel.
Yes, America is lost and needs the Gospel.
They need their brokenness covered.
They need hope.
But people out there;
They don't even know who He is.
So many have never heard the Gospel.
America knows the Gospel;
they just choose to ignore it.
And in order to reach those here . . .
you have to understand what's out there.
You have to understand what true compassion,
sincere grace,
and REAL forgiveness is.
Going out there will prepare me for here.
Yes, America needs help.
But I'm not ready for this battlefield yet;
God is preparing me for that.
Where has He called you?
Are you going?
