So, I wrote this blog yesterday and tried to post it, but naturally as soon as I hit the submit button my time limit was up and the place was closing so I was unable to purchase more time. Go figure.
I wanted to write another blog about Uganda because I couldn't just leave it and not try to explain how much of an impact that country made on my life.
I fell in love with Uganda. I loved the people, the ministry, the countryside. I loved everything about it! Here are some photos to explain the way I feel.
This little girl is Leyton, the sweetie in my last blog "Pixie Girl". She's sleepy because I had to wake her up to go home. I love this little girl, she stole my heart and didn't give it back. My first encounter with her was driving up to the church in our van and her jumping up and down chanting "m-m-mzungu, m-m-mzungu!"

This is Peter, he was our interpreter for the house visits that we went on. I loved these house visits! They were times of fellowship with believers in the church or evangelism to those who didn't know the Lord. At a couple houses we were able to hear their stories about their lives and enjoy pineapple or soda with them. These people truly know about hospitality. They asked us about America and we told them we would never have been allowed into homes to talk to people randomly. They were shocked at that information.

These little girls were adorable. They were at the church and loved praise and worship time. Some of my favorite memoriesare them hanging out and giving out their loving hugs.
This is Peace, one of the girls that lived at the house we lived at. She was so funny and loved to dance. She was going to school for hair styling and was such a hard worker.

Aggie was another girl who lived at the house. She was crazy! I loved this girl! She was a teacher and also taught the children's choir. She had a great sense of humor that constantly kept me laughing. We had some great conversations about life.
At the end of the month I also got the thrills of a lifetime! I was able to cross off two items on my bucket list. I was able to bungee jump into the Nile and white water raft class 5 rapids in the Nile.

So that was my month in a nutshell! I loved Uganda and I would love to go back!!! I want my heart back!!!
