So here we are at training camp, 1 day left. A lot has happen this week and I wish I could give you all a play by play; however that isn’t really possible. So here is the main overview, I will be writing more later.

  • Camp is 10 days in real life but really feels like 3 months.
  • Laughter, tears, breakdowns, and near insanity is totally normal
  • Feeling like your face may freeze off makes it hard to sleep. Thankfully bunkmates remind you of the finer things in life like hot dogs.
  • Finding a lost head lamp pretty much makes your day!
  • Matt and Kim are awesome worship leaders and we pretty much rock it out!
  • Jimmy (training camp chief) keeps everyone guessing with the no schedule policy that we adapt too.
  • You really learn to love people because time by yourself …. will lets just say it doesn’t really happen at training camp.
  • IN all seriousness though, this week has been awesome!!!!! Full of learning experiences, blessings, new friends/family, and growing your relationship with God. Some may think I’m totally crazy for doing this, but this week has reconfirmed that this is where I’m supposed to be.
More to come I promise. 10 days provides you with a lot of stories, but I am going to take some time to “process” before I write another blog. Thank you all for your support.
