Hello everyone!
Something that I have learned that I want to share with you is this: when you have been given the opportunity to go on the World Race, then your entire family goes on the World Race too. At least they do in some way shape or form. As a result of this realization, I have been super overwhelmed with how my family has chosen to respond to going on this journey with me. Honestly, I have never felt so loved and supported by them.
As soon as I found out that I was going to have this opportunity, their responses were “How can we help?”
and “What can we do?” Over these past few weeks, my mom has helped stuff and send out support letters as well as sell t-shirts; my dad has gotten all of the t-shirt stuff figured out as well as a bunch of little things; my sister designed the t-shirt and has been selling them to her friends; and my brother as well as his fiance have been reppin’ my shirt in Austin, TX. Whether big or small acts, my family has blown me away and they continue to do so every day.
I am so so appreciative of all that they have done for me and cherish the fact that they want to be involved in all the aspects of this journey. This will be an adventure not just for me, but for my entire family. It is going to grow us in so many ways. At times it will be hard, but I know that He has an incredible purpose for the World Race in our lives.
