Dear Friends and Family,

After a 14.5 hour plane ride to Seoul, a 5 hour plane ride to Phnom Penh, and a 2 hour bus ride to our homestay, we have successfully made it to Cambodia!!!! I wanted to fill all of you in about what the pst few days have looked like for my team and I!

Once I arrived to Atlanta, I met up with a bunch of other racers and hung out in the airport for a few hours. Once we were picked up, we headed over to Gainesville for 3 days of training and bonding with our teammates. These few days were filled with guest speakers talking about various topics, trying food from all over the world, doing team bonding activities, praising God during worship time, and testing out bucket showers! In the first few days, I was still feeling so nervous. God was telling me over and over again to let go and I just couldn’t because I felt like I had to fight this battle myself. It wasn’t until worship on Friday night that I was done with dealing with this anxiety and fear all by myself. I prayed and gave God all of my worries and I instantly felt the weight of the world off of my shoulders. God left me with such peace and literally every bit of fear left my mind. I wasn’t even nervous getting on the plane… Praise God!

Bonding with my team has been such a blessing!! There are 14 other girls on my team: Emma, Hannah, Emily M., Emily P., Emily Y., Karli, Aydan, Sydney, Tabitha, Rachel, Marianna, Kylie and our 2 leaders, Sarah and Liz. All of these girls love the Lord so much and are all so incredible. God could not have picked a better group of girls to serve Him in these next 3 months!

Thank you for all of your prayers and support! I’ve been overwhelmed with love from so many friends, family, and people in my community!

I also have pictures under the “photos” tab from training camp and the airport!

Blessings,

Natalie
