Hi friends and family!
I have only 3 days left in Cambodia… that’s so crazy!! God has been so good in my time here and He is teaching me new things everyday.
The kids and I have become close and I have loved getting to know them. A bunch of them left last week to go visit their families. Most of the kids here at the orphanage do have families but their families can’t afford to take care of them or send them to school. The majority of the girls I became close with ended up leaving, which was very bittersweet. This past week, I’ve been hanging with the younger boys. One day, we went on a walk to an old temple and it was a lot of fun! A bunch of the kids climbed to the top and tried to get us to climb up.
My team and I are becoming closer each day! We’ve been doing team time everyday and doing activities to continue to grow close together. I love getting to do life with these girls!!
In a few days, we will be going to Bangkok for debrief before we arrive to our ministry host in Thailand. Leaving here will be tough, but I know that God will continue to do amazing things!! Please pray for our travel days and for the hearts of all the people we will meet in Thailand!
