Hey everyone! I am Natalie Haynes. I love playing guitar and oboe, my family and friends, being outside, Doctor Who (I’m a bit of a geek), and of course, Jesus! I was born in North Carolina, but grew up as a Missionary Kid in Kijabe, Kenya. Growing up as a missionary kid really led to my passion for missions and seeing the lost found.

Growing up in the Church, Jesus was always something that people I knew talked about, and it seemed like I was expected to love the Lord. I did, or at least I thought I did. It wasn’t until I was 16 and in a Teen Challenge Program that I first stepped into a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. And that one time introduction to my Savior changed my whole life!

I graduated from Teen Challenge in October, 2016 and then had the privilege of completing an internship there to learn about leadership and ministry.  I went on a missions trip to New York City in 2016 and learned so much about what God has called me to do as his follower. I learned that God had called me to ministry, and I said yes!

I could not be more excited for this upcoming season in my walk with God! God has been so faithful to me and the fact that I am alive and well to do his work is a testimony of that. I cannot wait to share the love of Jesus with others and to grow in my relationship with the Lord as I follow him on the World Race in 2017!
