This week for blogging, our team decided to write about each other. This is us, from another point of view.

If I had to describe Natalie Edwards in one word it would be love. Her love is fierce, kind, and nurturing. She lights up when she talks about God. Her love for her nieces is otherworldly. She is constantly taking care of us. She went from knowing a little Spanish to seemingly almost fluent so she could better love our ministries in Costa Rica. She cried this morning because she had to miss seeing the children at ministry due to being sick.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. {1 Corinthians 13:4-7}

Nat is all of these and more. I can’t imagine life on the race without her, and I’m so grateful I don’t have to.

Now, here’s what the bible says on love, aka Nat.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. {1 John 4:7}

This is my command: Love each other. {John 15:17}

Do everything in love. {1 Corinthians 16:14}

As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. {John 13:34-35}
