Arriving in Cornesti, Moldova, it reminded me a lot of
southern Romania. The praise with that though is that it doesn’t feel anywhere
near as gloomy or as dark. I have not been able to see a lot of the town yet
because we have just arrived, but so far it has been an interesting endeavor.
We are staying in what the girls call the ‘Cold-War cottage’, which is a rather
appropriate name for it. We are going to do a cribs video, so more details when
that arrives.

I would like to send out a prayer request for my team though.
Juliette and Kimberly, the two girls from Soar were actually at this ministry
site last month. To come to the same place, a place that is rather dry of life,
that is taxing on the soul, it is a hard place to spend a second month at. They
are both awesome women, women that I am looking forward to getting to know
better, but women who really need love, encouragement, support, and prayers. My
teammate Woody is also still dealing with a lot of the stuff I talked about in
a previous email; one that I quoted part of her blog in. Last month I received
so many encouraging words from people, it was phenomenal.

It was also awesome to watch people show up for my past
teammates financially, because EVERY PERSON reached their financial goal. This
month though, I am asking for some awesome prayer warriors. To really just lift
spirits. When you are out here it can sometimes run you dry…you are 24-7 on the
field. That is how our lives back home should be though too once we get off the
race; 24-7 loving people and pouring into their lives. I guess this is just
practice for life in general.

Thank you to anyone who has contributed anything to this
World race adventure. Whether that is financially, prayerfully, sending words
of love and encouragement, or even spending time reading these blogs. God is
good 🙂
