Below is my fundraising letter I have sent out. I thought the rest of the world would like a chance to see it. (or those who want to read a revised edition of my fundraising letter)
Dearest Family and Friends,
As many of you know I have come to a time in my life where the age-old questions of “So what are you going to do now?” or “Do you have job lined up yet?” have become something that I am asked and hear quite a lot. With this period of finishing school it seems that the world expects me to have a plan. Well I don’t have a plan God does. India, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize, these countries are what his plans are for me. They are where God called me to go, and wanting to be an obedient servant of the Lord requires action. This trip is my action, this is my way to go and serve and say yes to his calling. This mission trip is called the World Race, it is through an organization called Adventures in Missions. It is an 11 month 11 country mission trip where I will be serving, loving, praying, healing, helping, teaching and spreading God’s love to those who need it.
God called me, this was never my plan, this was his plan for me and I’m living it out. My route will leave in August of 2016 and then I will be living out of a backpack with others who were called to serve as well. This is an amazing opportunity that God has placed in my life however with this opportunity I will need help. I ask that you will consider partnering with me through prayer. Also for this trip I will need to raise around $17,000. Yes that is very large and somewhat scary number to look at however I know that God will provide. The $17,000 is going to cover my expenses while on the field. If you choose, or if God is calling you to help support me financially just know that it is not money wasted, you will be helping spread the word and the love of the Lord, as well as helping build churches, teach English, and help minister to victims of trafficking. Below is a little help seeing where all the money I am raising is going.

Adventures In Missions is a tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) and is a member of the ECFA. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability). Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in. All contributions are non-refundable regardless of the participant’s success in completing the program.
