As most of you know this fall I’m going
to be co-leading a trip to Swaziland. Currently I’m in GA going
through some training with the other men and women  who will be leading
teams to countries in Asia, South America, and Africa. 5 different
teams in all will be sent out.

(Above picture is of Patrice and me. She is the amazing person I will be leading with!)

The past few days have been really good
for the leaders to connect and spend time in worship! Its so great to
be with others who want to join in the work that God is doing around
the world and speak truth into the lives of our generation. We pray
that many will find freedom through Jesus over the next few months.

Our ministry in Swaziland will mainly
be to orphans. We will be working with the Nsoko project at care
points that give them food and educations. I’m so excited for this
opportunity and can’t wait to share with you what God is doing over
there and join in that work. It will also be so great to see the ways
that God works in the girls who are on the team. There are 10 girls
ages 18-22. They all fly in tomorrow afternoon where we will
immediately begin team building exercises in real life situations to
stretch and help them to get out of their comfort zones. I’m looking
forward to meeting each of the girls and working alongside them over
the next 2 1/2 months!

If you would like to participate with
me in helping Swaziland know Jesus please consider the following ways
to be involved.

1)Reading my blogs and my team blog
where we will be keeping you up to date with all that we see God
doing over there! The team blog page is
http://swaziland.adventures.org.

2)Praying for our team. Prayer
requests right now are unity and trust in each other as everyone gets
to know one another over the next few days. Also, pray that God shows
up in big ways that stretch our understanding of Him and get Him out
of the explainable box that we have put Him in.

3)Financial Support. If this is an area
that God has blessed you with the ability to give then pray about
supporting me as all the donations I need to stay on the field aren’t
in yet.

Thanks so much to all of you who will
be praying and keeping up with the blogs. It means so much to know
that we have support. Encouraging comments go so far. I know the
girls would love getting them on our team blog page even if you don’t
know them personally!! Letting them know that you are supporting the
work that God is doing in and through them would be very helpful.
