Greetings from Austria! I’m sure you all have been wondering where we are and what has been going on since my last blog. It’s been hard to have time on the internet so I apologize for falling behind with informing you. Let me fill you in…

Our last days in Ukraine went very well. At the last coffee house a man accepted Christ. This was only his second time coming to the Coffee House. It was such a joy filled moment when he announced to everyone that he wanted to follow Christ. It’s amazing to witness someone experience freedom from the bondage of sin for the first time. I’ll never forget the life and hope that filled his eyes! We all look forward to hearing about the ways the Lord works through him in the future. Each of us were sad to leave Sergey, Marianna, and Ben. They were so kind to us and made us feel so welcome. They were such a joy to be around. God is doing some great things through each of them. Hopefully I’ll get to visit them again one day!

After leaving Ukraine we went to Munich, Germany. In Munich we helped a church with moving out of their offices through painting and cleaning. The church body of Munich International Community Church was so welcoming to us and they opened up their homes for a whole week. It was fun to be able to get to know them and see how they are reaching out to believers all over the world in Munich.

Last Thursday we left Munich and came by train to Vienna. For the past couple days we have been staying in a building that is used as a kind of rec. center for refugee families and youth. We have been able to help them with organizing, cooking and whatever else they need help with. On Friday nights they have a Bible study for the youth so we were able to join that last night. It was neat to be able to see people from about 10 different countries come together and fellowship. We plan on being here until Monday but plans could change.

On Monday we plan to go to Hungary for around a week and then come back to Vienna on the 17th for our final debrief. Please pray we continue to give it our all. As the race is coming to a close it is easy to check out as we are getting tired and ready to be reunited with family and friends!
