Last night I had a conversation with a good friend about boys. Yep. Boys. Or should I say MEN.

Isn't it funny how pretty much everything you hear about guys now-a-days is how few and far between the "REAL men" are? How when one woman finds a "good guy," all her girl friends gawk over it saying "Dang, you are so lucky, I'll never find a man."

Do you ever wonder where the real men are hiding?

Maybe they're right where we left them. Maybe they're stuck with the mindset we ladies feed them, that they are only here to buy us stuff, to satisfy OUR needs. That we can handle what may come and that their masculinity holds no value.
This culture, unfortunately, has raised girls to trample over men. To think me me ME

Welp. How bout we stop with the nonsense. Let's allow men to be the men that God intended them to be. Let's build them up, encourage them… they were given their role for a reason. Their role to protect and provide is one given by GOD (He knew what He was doing). Instead of trying to take this from them, stand by and support them. Encourage them to take on their role while you take on yours.

Men your masculinity is necessary. Your strength and courage are desired! Your integrity and character are the stepping stones that give women the voice they were intended to have. Your love and respect for us allow us to flourish, and you are appreciated.

Men- "Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve, not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock and when the chief shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away." -1 Peter 5:2-4

Women- "She brings him good and not harm, all the days of her life… She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue" – Proverbs 31:12 & 25-26

We can spend our time tearing each other down or building each other up.
Let's build each other up.
