We all get down at some point, right? Well even if we don’t I know that I did. I went through about a month where I was questioning my call to go on World Race. I know that most don’t want to hear that but I feel like it is important to tell you because I am no longer in that dark place. I am finding a renewed faith in God’s ability to heal my wounds and hold me up. I know once again that I am meant to go on this adventure. I recently purchased a CD of praise and worship music on I-tunes. I knew that there would be once song on it that was encouraging and that I loved so I just decided I needed the whole thing. The album is Hope Rising by Fee, and the song is Send Me Out. As I was listening to the words of the song, while cleaning my bathroom, I thought to myself “This song perfectly describes my call to World Race. This is where my heart is.”  So I thought I would share the chorus with you since it describes it so well.

“I wanna be Your hands & feet.
I wanna be Your voice every time I speak.
I wanna run to the ones in need, in the name of Jesus.
I wanna give my life away, all for Your kingdom’s sake.
Shine a light in the darkest place, in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus.”
