I just wanted to share a few last pictures from Cambodia while I write blogs and make videos for Burma
I love this little girl. I didn’t cry in the slum until the day that I visited her home
where ten of her family members sleep. It was completely filthy. They even
had a fish swimming in a bathtub in the corner by the entry. The water was
so dirty i could hardly see the fish and the the tub was rusting. I hope that
they didn’t have plans to eat it but I fear that it might have been dinner.I liked
picture because it captures her smile and if you look close you can see some
paint on the back wall that resembles a cross. In fact, there are 4. Her 85 year
old grandmother is in the following picture.
This woman was blind in both eyes. She told us that she never left this sitting
area outside of her home. She also said that she was not a Christian but that
she was very interested in listening to the Christian preachers on the small
radio next to her that her grand-kids gave her. Go God!!!
One of the lil’ regular kids that we got to play with for a month. i miss those faces already.
