Our squad has now returned from de-brief and we are back in Phnom Penh. My grandmother passed away last week. I made something for the funeral and I wanted to share.
Our slum outreach ministry starts tomorrow and hopefully I will have an update for you soon. Tonight we were introduced to the dump site where we will be working. Our ministry will include teaching English and healthcare. We will teach at the school in the morning and throughout the village in the afternoon. Lack of education and healthcare in this area has caused a high infant mortality rate. Something as minor as providing a water filter for each famiy (10 or so people) has cut it in half.
Please pray for a supernatural energy for my team (5 alive). Also,
pray that we would be sensitive to the Spirit and let the Lord lead us.
