I have a great imagination and I've had some pretty wild dreams before. When I was younger I wanted to be several things, ranging from a cowboy to a superhero. But as most people know we get older and passions and dreams fade (how sad!) and you somehow learn to accept (maybe a bit grudgingly) that you're not magically going to get hit with this ray that will make you super, or you're not going to inherit a ranch for an old cowboy. And life just pushes you along forward. You learn to move with the flow and not against it and everything will be fine……then the One who says your wildest dreams are not wild enough for you steps in. Its usually pretty irritating when He steps in because we have let part of our desire die in the name of being responsible(not that responsibility is bad, but it must bow its knees to the One who is Truth). But He steps in and whispers His dreams for us. They are usually beyond crazy and most of the time to our eyes they seem totally irresponsible!!!!!!!!!! But we so many times we forget that we are from another kingdom, where you have to go low to be exalted and die to live and lose to win. A total "upside down kingdom!" God is totally interested in making us His little fool for the sake of giving us things beyond our wildest dreams. Yes I said "fool" because thats exactly what we will look like if we follow the "Wild One". But oh it is the life! You forget what dreaming and life really is until you taste it again, most people haven't tasted it sense they were children. Its like drinking water for years then you finally get to taste a cold Dr. Pepper again! WHOOO you forget how good! So I say all this to say…..dream with God and you fully alive! Don't die in the name of getting on with your life, nope He is the author of life and dreaming with Him is our responsibility. I thank God for His Wildest dreams!
