This blog is purely a shout out / memory time. These are (only slightly edited) messages from my incredible Sigma sisters that have been popping into my Hope mail all weekend.
There are three main reasons for this:
Number one: I'm "supposed" to be posting.
Number two: I currently have no motivation to do ANYTHING, let alone compile my thoughts into a neat and organized collection of witty and interesting tidbits. In fact, the few thoughts I have I'd rather not post.
Number three: it's been a very trying month, as I'm sure many months on the Race will be, and on those days I may need these words in one centralized location. 🙂
Thank you to everyone who has been an encouragement. These words are written, but hundreds more have been said. And texted. And thought. And prayed.
I really do have the best family and friends in the world, and that is SUCH a blessing.

I'm really sorry for your loss. death is the hardest thing to go through.
but there truly is a time for everything.

even though it's so hard to understand it is somewhat cool cos you are such a strong person! normal people cant go through things like this and be still so strong like you!

So basically I wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you lots lately.
I know that I suck at letting you know that, but I sincerely do miss you.
I also want you to know that my heart is aching for you.
It is breaking every time that I read this.
I have no idea what you are going through,
I never will because what you are going through is completely and utterly unique to you.
These trials suck and you prolly don't understand them.
While I don't know what you are feeling or going through, I do know two things:
First is that I am always praying for you and thinking about you.
I think you are a very talented, smart, beautiful, caring, amazing woman of God
and that leads me to the second thing I know:
God is always with you.
Even when you don't think so or you doubt, God is there.
He is just waiting for you and he wants to be longed by you.
He wants to romance you every single day.
God has such great plans for you.
I truly believe that.
The coolest thing is that you are just so open to listening to his calling.
I admire that about you.
You've always just dropped things because you feel that is the calling of God.
I admire you sooo much for that.
Just remember that I am always praying, always thinking and that above all,
God is there for you always.
I hope this can bring some comfort into your life.

I feel for your pain and frustration.
Immediately when I read your story I thought of all the ways that
the devil tries to ruin our relationship with God.
You are doing something really radical in your life and
you are going to make a huge difference in the lives of others.

I encourage you to stay strong in your faith and love for the Lord.
I went to the Gathering tonight and the message made me think of you.
It was all about not letting the negative things dominate your thoughts,
and focusing and surrounding yourself by the positives.

I'm only your sigma grandmother and I know how much I already adore you,
so I can only imagine what it's like to lose your real grandmother.
I'm not so good at stuff like this and i honestly wish
I had the perfect words to say to make you feel better or
to make the pain go away, but unfortunately, life doesn't work like that.
but the great thing is that you do have so many people who do love and care about you!
your pain is their pain and so maybe it helps that
you don't have to suffer this burden on your own.
