Hi All!
I’m new to blogging and not really sure what you may want to know about me. “Tell me about yourself” is probably my least favorite phrase. It seems to come up often…during an interview, almost every ice breaker, even a first date. I should have taken the advice of my career counselor and had my 90 “commercial” ready.
My name is Natalia (Tai) Davis and I’m supper excited to be a World Racer.
I am 33 and will be 34 by the time we launch and will most likely be the oldest person on the trip. At first I was a little apprehensive about the age gap between me and my teammates. Truth is, I’m way to excited to care. It just gives a new dimension to our team dynamic. I think I’m most excited to see how we work together to glorify God and to just love on people. People are my heart and it gives me great joy to be able to bless others.

Some possibly interesting things about me:
I played lacrosse in high school
I was a lifeguard for 7 yrs
My favorite color is yellow
Tai isn’t actually my middle name. My friend Dave started calling me Mai Tai in high school and the Tai part stuck. Depending when you met me is how I introduced myself. Writing my name this way cuts down on the confusion. Random funny story… The guy I dated in college didn’t actually know my name was Natalia until I introduced myself to his parents four months into our relationship 🙂
Twins run in my family. Sadly, I’m not one of them, but three sets in two generations is pretty amazing to me. My mom is a twin, my brother and sister are twins, and my cousins are twins. If God and I are on the same page, I’ll be having twins too.
