I am so excited about training camp! The funds are coming in, praise God, and the time is getting near. All the things I have been talking about for almost a year now is coming to fruition. Wow, as I think “almost a year” it has been a long good year. A year of heart ache, a year of growth, a year full of joy, of acceptance, of looking at myself in the mirror and really focusing on what I see good and bad, a year of things I love about myself and what could be better. A year of awesome lessons learned.
This “almost a year,” what mostly stands true is how in AWE of God I’am and all He has done for me. If I began to explain it would take another year. All the love he has given me through you, my friends and family. I am closer now to myself and my family and friends then I have ever been in my life. Most recently, with the start of this year, I decided my word would be Honor. In these short 5 months I have learned what it means to Honor myself, honor my family, my friends and most importantly, honor my God! I am constantly gleaning that all while learning how to be vulnerable, transparent and a lot more intimate with my God, myself and others.
This is really only the beginning of another book and wow, the things God is going to write(make right) I can’t even begin to imagine. I am finally at the point where I can live out all the songs I sing with my hands to heaven.
Here’s to a good year and a the beginning of a good new book!
