As I think about going on the Race, I tend to think about all my weaknesses and inadequacies. And I have plenty running through my head, lack of knowledge, no writing skills, public speaking-nope, communication skills-lacking, lack of Biblical knowledge, and on and on.
I ask myself, how is God going to use me with all these inadequacies?
But God reminds me that He doesn’t call us to be perfect at everything and brilliant in all that we do. If we were we wouldn’t need a savior. And if we didn’t have any weaknesses and inadequacies we wouldn’t have to rely on God’s strength in our lives.
I know that I am going to get stretched and grow in areas I’ve yet to grow in. And at times it’s probably not going to be comfortable. But I trust God will be there to help me with the growing pains.
The thing is you have to be willing to grow.
I am willing Father and in You I Trust and Obey.
