I can’t believe its been almost a month since I started this crazy, wild, amazing journey!
I want to share this first month in a nutshell with photos so you can visually experience my month! = )
First I’ll start with the streets of Antigua.

These next photos are at our ministry site, Cani. A grade school. We helped the teacher’s finish the school year, and played with the kids at recess. The kids were so fun and I enjoyed every minute of it!

This girl was so funny. She was treating Lauren like a queen and even trying to give her money.

We got to see one of the classes graduate I was so excited!!

These are some of the kids that stole my heart.

This picture below is a soccer field behind the school that they are working so hard to finish to help keep kids off the streets. I was so happy we got to help with such an awesome mission. The picture with the green turf is the almost finished field, we are actually getting to see the finished field! We are pulling the turf out of the sewn seems.

Here’s some of my community I’m living with! I’m super blessed!

Trying frozen treats in baggies. They called them ice cream. super yummy!

Studying at the café.

Sunrises at lake Atitlan…So peaceful.

This is the insides of a chicken bus. I was a little disappointed to not see any chickens…

Traffic in Guatemala. I’m always surprised at how many cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and chicken buses can fit in one lane.
These next photos are some I took when we went to the market with a friends, Gabby and Sophia.

These are photos from one of our adventure days. We went to lake Atitlan. Beautiful peaceful place! Helped us all rejuvenate after days of shoveling, carrying, and spreading rocks on the soccer field.

These ladies were washing clothes early every morning. It was really neat to see.
I have been fascinated by all the beautiful nature in Antigua, and want to share some of the cool things I’ve seen. Below are just some of the amazing beauty here.

This dog in the fire pit automatically made me think, hot dog!

Puppy love!

A CAT!!!! I was way too excited to see this cat!

I was fascinated watching this guy cook all these chickens.

Hot chocolate in Guatemala is like no other!

This is a cool pic from the roof of the place we are staying.

This is my lava inspired art.

There is so much more and I will share more later. God is amazing! And doing great things here.
God Bless!
