As most of you know, my last week and a half was spent at training camp.

How was training camp??

The word “Wow” comes to mind. God moved mountains at training camp in not just one life but everyone’s lives. Seeing people grow in the Lord and break through areas in their life that satan had a strong hold on. God is so good!

I went to training camp thinking they were going to train us in scenarios that could happen on the field, safety, fitness, and information. It was soo much more than I had imagined! All those things happened. But the biggest part is encouraging us and strengthening us in our walk with the Lord so that we are spiritually, and emotionally, ready for life of ministry for the following year. And also preparing us to be ready for close community of fellowship as the body of Christ.

I watched people overcome things they could never overcome without Christ! And lives were changed.

There was such a feeling of community the whole 10 days. There was 88 Racers all together and such a presence of God through every life. I’ve never witnessed that many people pull together in unity so well… Ever. I heard no complaining, even after we just did a timed work out that seemed impossible. And in that work out scenario everyone pulled together to not only help their squad mates but all 3 squads.

I won’t go into everything that we did because I want other future Racers to be surprised when they experience training camp. Part of training camp is being surprised every hour as to what is next.

You are constantly doing and learning something different. And you won’t leave the same. But who you leave as is beautiful.

I feel very full of Joy, amazement, and a thankful full heart. God has great things in store for all of the squads in these 3, 2017 October routes. I’m so thankful and blessed He wants to use us and called us to spread His kingdom through the 11 countries we’ll be going to.

One thing the Lord told me at training camp is, in all you do find JOY.

There will be some times when Joy will be hard to find, but in every situation with Christ you can find Joy.

One cool thing is we are the 5th generation of world racers! And they really felt this training camp was different than any that’s ever happened. They emphasized how they strongly feel God has amazing things in store with the start of this 5th generation. The squad I’m in is also the first 11n11 All girls squad! God spoke some amazing things over our squad and we can’t wait to see how He will use each of our lives!

There was a song we sang, that declared God’s goodness. The lyrics that keep playing over in my head is “You are Good, you are Good. Even when things seem impossible, and uncomfortable, and vulnerable. Remember to declare God’s goodness, for He is GOOD!

I’m going to finish with the rest of the lyrics from that song. “King of my Heart” by Bethel music. Let the king of my heart be the mountain where I run, the fountain I drink from Oh, He is my song, Let the king of my heart be the shadow where I hide, the ransom for my life, Oh He is my song. For you are good, you are good, And let the king of my heart be the wind inside my sails the anchor in the waves, Oh He is my song, Let the king of my heart be the Fire inside my veins the echo of my days, Oh He is my song. Cause you are good, you are good. You’re never gonna let me down, You’re never gonna let me down. Cause you are good, you are good. God is GOOD!
