Here we are with our students on the last day we taught them. Overall, I’m so pleased with how our time with them turned out. It was bittersweet saying good bye!
Here are the lovely teachers that so graciously allowed us to disrupt their class to teach English.
This is our group that attended our English club every afternoon for two hours. We played games, had a lesson, shared testimonies, and had loads of discussion time. Many of them are university students simply trying to improve their English speaking skills. Often, they would tell us that they did not speak English well, but we found just the opposite. It was such a fun week getting to know them and encourage them to keep practicing. They even taught me some Malagasy!
Some of the girls from English Club wanted to have a little photo shoot before our last class. It was pretty awkward, but we were so flattered that they wanted to take pictures with us.
