BIG NEWS! I AM FULLY FUNDED!
Earlier today, I decided to take a quick peek at my support account to see if a few transactions had been processed. I was blown away to discover that I am fully funded!
From the very beginning of this journey, the financial aspect was a huge place of doubt for me. When I finally surrendered to the Lord, and said “yes” to Him regarding the World Race, I gave Him a requirement. (I know, it sounds silly, but I really did pray this!) I told the Lord that if I was going to do this thing, He needed to be the one to raise this money, because I knew that I could never do it in and of my own strength. I also tacked on there that I wanted it all to be in by the time I left.
Thinking back on it now, it does seem kind of silly to pray such a prayer, and it truly humbles me to see that the Lord saw fit to answer yes, even down to the very day before I leave. You see, God knows what we need. He created each and every one of us. He knows what makes us tick. He knows our desires and our wants. He wants to bless you! But its all in His timing. He’s going to do what is best for you! But sometimes it may not show up in the exact way that you thought. Don’t doubt Him, because He is fully worthy of our trust.
Also, to all those who gave to my trip. Thank you so much! You are being used by the Lord and I pray that He blesses you so very much through this.
Tomorrow we leave for Mozambique. Please be in prayer for my squad as it’s going to be a long few days of traveling. I’ll hopefully be back online soon-ish with another update from Africa! (How crazy is that?!)
