Hey All! Welcome to the place where you get to learn a little more about me. Whether you’ve known me forever or have never met me, here are 11 things that give you a glimpse of who I am and what I love.
- I am a small town Iowa girl.
- My family means the world to me- my parents and my two younger sisters. I love them so much. My family has taught me what true love, support and encouragement looks like.
- I love music. All types too. One of my unique favorites is epic movie scores.
- Being outside in nature is one of my favorite ways to experience God. Mountains. Waterfalls. Sunsets. Thunderstorms. I love the beauty of His creation.
- To the general population, I am the quiet and reserved introvert. However, once I get comfortable and in smaller settings, I love to talk. I love meaningful conversations.
- I love coffee dates even though I do not like coffee.
- I have a weakness for sweets, Mountain Dew and the TV show Friends.
- I was born with the travel bug. I’ve made it to 49 of the 50 states + China and Haiti. Thanks Mom & Dad!
- I love making random memories. Worshiping acapella in an old barn. Racing live ducks in small town Nebraska. Skydiving over the fields of Illinois. Some things just stick with you.
- I am a planner. I have always had a plan: Go to Iowa State University. Graduate with an engineering degree. Get an engineering job. Live the American dream. But sometimes God has a different plan. For the first time, I don’t know what the plan is, but I am trusting that God’s plan is much better than anything I can imagine.
- I am the child of a gracious, compassionate, forgiving, forever-loving, powerful, awesome God. He loves me and chose me even though I get it wrong a lot of the time. It is a privilege to know Him and serve Him in all that I do.
I cannot wait to see what God has in store for this time in my life. It is exciting, scary and nerve-wracking all at the same time. But I am ready to jump in to His plan and His story and I would love for you to join me in this!
