It’s time to start fundraising! This is something I’m exciting about, and of course a little nervous. Yesterday I started to address my envelopes! I know that raising about $17K is a lot of money, but I’m not really worried about it. I have a peace that God will provide. This is what he wants me to do so I know he won’t let me down. When I was graduating High school I wanted to go to a bible college. Well with my part time job after school I was able to save some money, but not everything I needed. I prayed and prayed that if this is where God wants me to go he would provide the money. Sure enough funds were provided! I was given $2000 from a member of my home church to go to school. It was such a blessing to see how if God wants you to do something nothing will stand in the way! I know that is the case with the World Race. So many people have the first response of “That’s a lot of money”. You know what; it is a lot of money. My response is, “Yes, but the price of the souls that could be saved is priceless.” I am not going to pass up a chance to share Gods love just because it will cost a lot of money. God is bigger than the 17K I need.
I’m excited to take that first step and send out the letters. These next few months are going to be a new seasons for me. Spiritual and emotionally. God is going to be changing my heart in ways to shape me to do his work, and I am very excited about it!! 😀
