Hello Friends!
My name is Naomi. I am from a small logging town called Eatonville in Washington State, but am currently living in Vancouver WA. My parents are from Louisiana so I grew up with a loving southern home. After I graduated high school in 2012 I moved to Portland OR to attend Portland Bible College. There I found a new love for the Lord! I learned how to study the Bible and really have a true relationship with God! I earned my associates in Theology. After school I moved across the bridge to Vancouver where I have been for the past year and a half. I work as a teller at a credit union, but I have been craving more! More of life and more of Jesus! After lots of prayer for direction a month ago I was reminded of the mission’s trip my cousin went on, the World Race. I pulled up the website and tears came to my eyes! My heart was racing, full of peace, excitement, and passion. I knew in my heart this was for me. This summer I will be on my way to 11 different countries!! I will be going on route 2, Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic. I am so excited to fully surrender myself to God and let him use me! As I start this journey of preparing for my trip I ask that you would keep me in your prayers and consider helping me financially. I love cats; I’m definitely a crazy cat lady! My sweet kitty is Peaches!
I love to sing! I took vocal lessons in college. I also sang for worship when I was in high school.
I love fitness! Training, lifting weights!
I tend to be outgoing once you get to know me. At first I am someone shy, but after we are friends I’m loud and out there!
